Doing business online, is not as easy, as some people assume it to be. The rules of the game change as fast as, high-speed internet service. Affiliate marketing is no exception.

In fact, one of the biggest secrets to affiliate marketing is, "everything changes." You cannot afford to be uninformed about new strategies and new markets. The "new", becomes obsolete, sometimes in a couple of weeks.

Finding yourself a "niche" market, is not only good business sense, it can also show you a good profit in a very short time. It is finding those small groups looking for online products and coming up empty.

Foreign cars are not niche markets. Finding a resource for original foreign car accessories could be a great niche market.

One hot, niche, product I found over at clickbank, was moving up the charts pretty fast. It was an ezine product, about recipes for healthy dog food.

I have a friend who owns three dogs. She is article writing about this product and making the first page of Google all of the time with her dog articles. Jane, is making some decent cash off of this single, "niche", market.

There is a term you might have heard called, "Bum Marketing". A friend of mine at "Wealthy Affiliates", coined this term.

In essence, "Bum Marketing", refers to affiliate marketing without spending money. If you don't have seed money stashed away for your marketing campaigns, then you will be using all of those hidden, free resources, to get your sales, by using, Bum Marketing methods.
