Never Do MLM Prospecting Again
I have never met even one person that truly enjoyed MLM Prospecting. In MLM Network Marketing most of us were trained to make up a list of everyone we know, and then to call that list with our upline. Can I say “Yuck”? I don’t know anyone that actually wants to do this. What if there really was a way to do MLM without Prospecting? In my humble opinion, most of the people I’ve worked with in MLM won’t prospect this way. I would say only about 5 out of 100 will actually learn the sales skills to make that work. I suppose that’s why the failure rate in network marketing is in the high 90 percentages. No one really wants to call uninterested people and ask them to consider a business. In marketing terms, this kind of marketing is the most unqualified form of marketing you can do. I’m sure that’s a part of why network marketers need to do so much personal Development. 2 Things Required to Never Do MLM Prospecting again. 1) You need Marketing – Marketing is not calling uninterested people. Marketing is learning how to find people who are already interested in what you have to offer. Network Marketers say ‘You just need to share this with a few people’. How successful would McDonald’s be if their employees just shared their product? Marketers get their message to as many interested people as possible. It’s strategically obvious that it takes active marketing to build a business. If you aren’t willing to market, then you have to apply things like the 3 foot rule where you’ll blurt things out to total strangers as you try to make prospects. No thanks, that’s not for me. 2) You need a System that Closes FOR YOU – Yes these kinds of systems really exist. If you’ve ever bought ANYTHING online then you have been experienced this. People are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars online in a single transaction, and they are doing it without talking to anyone. When you’re marketing a system, you can literally have hundreds and thousands of prospects educating themselves about your opportunity, and the most serious can even join your team without ever talking to you. Don’t get me wrong, I highly recommend that you do work with your team, but a good system can really do 95% of your MLM prospecting. When you Market to interested people, your offer is very powerful. If you have a system that automates the educating, selling, and closing part of your business, then you have just eliminated what keeps 90% of people from making money.
