ODD BIZ OF THE WEEK!

Have you ever read my ODD BIZ OF THE WEEK column?...I publish it every week and I think that you might find it interesting!...

So, if you haven't read it yet here's a sample...Here's this week's (10/15/07) ODD BIZ OF THE WEEK!

I make it a practice to circulate through flea markets for new ideas and one week-end I, literally , almost stumbled over this one!

While walking around, I came across an operator who had a small crowd of people around him!....

The people were almost walking over each other to get at dozens of plastic bins on the ground!

What was in the bins?........... USED TOOLS!.... And, I mean tools of every description!......Hammers pliers, drills..... ALL AT A VERY LOW PRICE!

I actually interviewed this operator and the fruits of my interview appear below.

First of all, he claimed to take in over $250.+ on an average day!

I asked him where he acquired his stock and he told me that some of his tools were handled on a consignment basis and sometimes he bought the tools outright, if the price was right.

He further claimed that people, for some unknown reason, loved to root through the bins and sometimes spent up to an hour looking!

He also accepts want lists for tools not in stock!

He claims to earn a substantial full-time income doing this!

Maybe this is for you!....Don't discount it because of it's simplicity...therein lies it's beauty!!
