For today cheap Marlboro is one of the most popular cigarette brands. Marlboro started with the slogan "Mild as May". Not everybody knows that it was the brand for women. To hide the impress of the lipstick the filters were specially made of pink colour. Marlboro was taken away from manufacture when the World War Two started because it was unprofitable.
